Configuration discussion

  • M3 will DM.
  • if bimorph then need 2x diamter. hence 5" x root 2 x 2
  • Angle beacon
  • IR transmitting dicroic; grey splitter for
  • ADC? keep space for 5" one
  • small ADC for WFS or we need filters
  • room for OAP for fiber injection in future
  • dicroic holder
  • ZEMAX

Actions:

  • Need quotes to feel comfortable moving forward.
  • Start ZEMAX layout (LS)

FAST-WFS

  • how red sensitive? deep-depleted? what wavelength to optimize?
  • Andor, E2?
  • small ADC or red filter?
  • real-time architecture

Action:

  • start simulating the WFS performance
  • what real-time architecture

SLOW-WFS, DM

  • Is Thorlabs DM system acceptable?
  • Piston control? closed loop with delay line?
  • use angle beacon probably.


Other things:

Heidenheim (non-profit company for encoders, other stuff?)
