	One issue is that transfer rate ~~gets~~ slower (wolverine <-> mirkwood ~~= 8.5 Mb/s before, 6.1 Mb/s after,~~ scp ~~results)~~.		One potential issue is that transfer rate is supposed to get slower on some NIC, though my tests on wolverine <-> mirkwood scp exchanges show this is not the case.
