Observers: Stefan Kraus Telescope: S1-S2-W2-E2 Beams: B4-B1-B3-B2 POPs: 1- 1- 5- 5 CHARA/CLIMB Baseline: S2(pop5)-E2(pop2)-W2(pop1) (S2 on beam 1, E2 on beam 2, W2 on beam 3, E2 reference) LT 20:39 = UT 03:39 = LST 13:13 LT 20:40 started acquisition LT 21:15 - HD166411 (bright calibrator for Omi Her) searching for fringes, humidity 40-50%, wind 10 km/s LT 22:10 found fringe B2-B3 at -0.93cm some problem with ople when starting search found fringe B1-B2 at -0.409cm LT 23:00 tip-tilt failed, have to reacquire star running out of delay LT 23:15 - HD198084, spec binary to find fringes could not find any fringes LT 23:45 - (Spec binary) LT 00:05 found fringes at B1B2 = -0.91cm, B2B3 = -0.46cm LT 00:10 - HD192985 (K=4.8) calibrator for WR140, seeing 2-4cm low flux: only 50 counts with NORM 500Hz (20 counts background) LT 00:30 also cannot find fringes with 250 Hz LT 00:30 - HD205776 (K=4.0) calibrator for MWC361, seeing 1-3cm, humidity 40% reoptimizing alignment, clock, etc. LT 01:14 - HD203280 (K=2.1) bright calibrator to find fringes again counts sum=1150-900 (NORM 500 Hz) counts sum=700-550 (NORM 1000 Hz) fringe BL12=-0.49cm, fringe looks very unstable and is drifting fringe BL23=-0.21cm with 1000Hz fringes are jumping very much recording 500 Hz data after recording fringes are at -0.46, -0.17 (about 5 minutes after last writing down of the offset) so we have a drift of 1mm over 10 minutes LT 01:40 closing due to dust in the atmosphere LT 04:20 opening again, humidity 20-30%, seeing variable LT 04:25 - HD203280 recording fringes, offsets -0.40cm, +0.29cm LT 04:35 - HD200775 (=MWC361) finding fringes on BL12, seeing 5-8cm finding all fringes LT 04:55 recording data, NORM 500 Hz offset S2=-0.62cm, W2=-0.07cm LT 05:05 - HD203280, have to do bright calibrator again due to sunlight coming up W2 crashes could find one fringe have to stop due to dawn LT 05:13 closing down
